With easy access to the airport and capital city, Palmanova occupies an enviable position on the south-west coast of Mallorca

About Palmanova

Palmanova is situated on the south-west coast of the island of Mallorca, just 20 km from Palma International Airport. Close enough to stroll up the coast to the exclusive “Portals Nous” yacht harbour with its many attractive shops, bars & restaurants; and naturally separated from the lively Magalluf; Palmanova enjoys a more leisurely pace of life, with unspoiled views out across the Mediterranean Sea. There are also several bus routes that travel through Palmanova that take you further west to El Toro, Andraxt and Peguera as well as heading into the main city Palma where you can get connecting transport to the rest of the island.

The jewels in the crown in Palmanova are definitely the beaches. There are three beautiful bays, Playa Son Matias, Playa de Palmanova and Playa Es Carregador – all magnificent and very well cared for by Calvia Ajuntament (Council). All three beaches have been awarded the “Blue Flag” which denotes that the quality of both the beach and the water is regularly checked and kept to a very high standard.
